Correflux

Progression’s electrostatic monitoring technology provides comprehensive monitoring throughout the gas phase process in real-time. These critical measurements have yielded insight into previously unknown process parameters. This real-time feedback allows for optimization of gas flows and other process conditions and helps protect downstream equipment.

The Correflux3420® carryover electrostatic probe detects process upsets by measuring increases in the quantity of entrained particles in gas recycle and discharge lines. This feedback allows reactor controls to be improved and process parameters to be changed in order to optimize conditions and production rates.

Progression’s Correstat3410® electrostatic probe monitors conditions within gas phase reactors. The probe can measure charge imbalances within the reactor chamber allowing plant operators to take appropriate action to avoid problems associated with sheeting and polymer agglomeration.

The Electrostatic Monitor (ESM3400™) is a multi-channel integrated system. The ESM3400 was introduced to monitor electrostatic activity in fluidized-bed reactors and detect entrained resin in carryover lines. The probes give early warning of otherwise undetectable electrostatic changes that can result in operational problems and reactor shutdowns.
