Specialist solutions are offered by progression for the measurement of various process and product parameters in polymer production processes.

Magneflow® products
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) solutions are available for morphological measurements of thermoplastic materials. Process NMR measurements for polypropylene include xylene solubles, decalin solubles, heptane insolubles, flex modulus, ethylene content, and melt flow index trending. Polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE) measurements include density, intrinsic viscosity, and melt index trending utilizing the progression Magneflow IMR product line-up.

MagStation II — a sophisticated magnet and software provide off-line material analysis with no manual sample preparation.

MagModule II— comes complete with progression’s own custom-designed sampling systems and offers reliable on-line process analysis. Its ability to measure both polymer flake and pellets enables our customers to implement the concepts of advanced process control and to obtain greater productivity and profits.

Correflow® products
Solutions are available for the measurement of catalyst feed to both liquid and gas phase reactors as well as the critical measurement of electrostatic activity in fluidized bed gas phase reactors.

MFM3100 — the only in-line real time system to measure velocity, concentration, and mass flow of each component in various two-phase mixtures. It is uniquely designed for the measurement of catalyst feed.

ESM3400— monitors electrostatic interactions in gas phase reactors and pneumatic conveying systems in real time.

iPulse® products
iPulse—provides on-line, real-time elemental analysis of catalyst and additive levels in polymers. Benefits of iPulse include: no nuclear source, minimal operator training, and the ability to deliver effectively non-destructive, simultaneous multi-element analyses.
