The Correflow® ESM3400™ electrostatic probe has broad applications throughout the chemical, petroleum, and polymer industries. This electrostatic monitoring technology examines interactions in fluidized bed gas phase reactors and pneumatic conveying systems in real-time. Custom electrostatic monitoring solutions can also be designed using Progression’s proprietary technology for unique customer solutions.
With more than 15 years of proven commercial experience, the Correflow ElectroStatic Monitor (ESM3400) has become an industry standard for the plant-wide electrostatic monitoring technology. The ESM3400 was introduced to monitor electrostatic activity in fluidized-bed reactor cores and catalyst injection ports as well as detect entrained resin in carryover lines. These critical measurements have yielded insight into previously unknown process parameters.
The ESM3400 is a multi-channel integrated electrostatic monitoring technology system that provides comprehensive monitoring throughout a gas phase process. Charge imbalances and indications of other dynamic electrostatic interactions are monitored in real-time with various ESM probes. Carryover probes warn of excess particulate fines in gas recycle lines that cause heat exchanger and pump fouling. These reactor probes give early warning of otherwise undetectable electrostatic changes that can result in operational problems and reactor shutdowns.
Progression’s ESM3400 is the safest method (low voltage level) for electrostatic analysis in commercial and pilot plant reactors.
