Scott L. Simmons Joins progression, inc.
Haverhill, MA—March 15, 2004—progression, inc., the world’s leading provider of industrial Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analyzers for use in the manufacture of polyolefins, thermoplastic materials, mining, textiles and agricultural products, announced the appointment of Scott L. Simmons to its position of senior vice president and treasurer.
Simmons, 31, will be based at progression’s operations center in Haverhill, MA, and will oversee market development for our award winning Magneflow® line of industrial NMR analyzers. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in chemical engineering, Simmons holds an MBA from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business. Previously employed at Exxon Chemical Company and IMC, both in LA, Simmons most recently worked as an associate in the investment banking division of JP Morgan Chase in Houston, TX.

Davis, progression’s chief executive officer, stated, “As we look to expand our marketing capabilities into new industrial sectors, Scott’s familiarity with our products and personality makes him a great fit for the company. He has previously worked with our Magneflow® and Correflow® product lines and his experience in polyolefin production and phosphates allow us to further our capability in meeting customer needs around the globe.”
